My first MDF table
June 11, 2018
This is my first MDF table. Made out of very basic tools, just jigsaw and drill. Unfortunately, I have only 2 pictures of making it.
Start with 8′ x 4′ x 1/2″ MDF sheets (I think I used 1 1/2 sheets).
Half way through
I made it for my son. He is happy. It has ample desk space. Enough storage for bags and books. Fold-able to save space.
All the joints were done with self tapping screws. You need to first drill the holes with a smaller drill bit than the screw before inserting the screws to prevent cracking over the edges.

This is how the joining was done.

Then finish with stickers.
Enjoy.

Nicely laminated.
Wonder what you did for the edges (ie: the surface which shows the the thickness of the board)
